Before actually starting an internship, it is a good idea to become familiar with the workplace and make sure it is a good fir for you. I am not locked into any one internship yet, I might be interning at Qualcomm's ThinkaBit Lab, or UCSD's plasma physics and fusion department. It has been hard to get all of the permissions to go to UCSD so today I went to ThinkaBit for my site visit. I had a lot of fun at ThinkaBit, I got to help kids learn some basic Arduino and saw them get exited about engineering. The environent was very bright and I really with I had been there as a kid. I don't really know what my project would be there but I would want something that would be both fun for me and the kids. I am not going to give up on interning at UCSD. I think I would learn more there while ThinkaBit would be the easier choice. If givent the chance I would definitly go to UCSD but ThinkaBit is by no means not a good option. The link below is to an interview with my potentail mentor. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1cyB5GvL2Br64IX_bgurXKTkSX_VVDYoh5qidZxLpqrI/edit?usp=sharing
