American Literature Honors
Honors in this class consisted of reading an article every week, annotating it, and then writing a response. Examples of readings are My Dungeon Shook by James Baldwin and -But I Know you, American Woman by Judit Moschkovich. Each reading featured subjects ranging from the civil rights movement to the physiological effects of Barbie.
Many of the readings were long and hard to work through, as was Colleen's intention; she was giving us readings that would prepare us for college readings.
